Utah State Archives and Records Service
Assistant Director
Salt Lake City, UT
As the Assistant Director and head of the Archives and Patron Services Bureau for the Utah State Archives and Records Service I oversee a host of administrative functions for the institution. This includes electronic records management, digital preservation, records processing, outreach, digital archives, volunteer coordination, and the online dissemination of section work product.

Formerly I served as a processing and reference archivist for the Utah State Archives where I processed a variety of historic record collections, spearheaded initiatives to improve access and enhance professionalization of archives processing procedures, coordinated planning efforts to enhance outreach programs, and helped implement new standards and best practices to help improve accessioning and reduce collection backlog. In this role I also served in various professional capacities that allowed me to build important working relationships with various archivists, librarians, and researchers across the Intermountain West.

I am a certified archivist, certified digital archives specialist, and hold a master's degree in the Environmental Humanities from the University of Utah (2012) and an MLIS from Drexel University (2016).
