For library faculty who develop reference tools such as bibliographies or indexes, new open source software can help them quickly deploy their tools to the Web. The software (called ATOM) is based on Django and provides flexible searching, sorting, and filtering. Research tools that are built using the system can incorporate an API and custom interfaces. This presentation will introduce the software and show examples of how it is being used in an academic library.
