After a 2014 library renovation the North Logan Library put nearly half of its collection in compact shelving in order to create more flexible programming space. Without the ability to have traditional browsing, we have experimented with mobile displays and a passive programming model to both highlight collections and engage patrons in easy, non-threatening ways. This model has resulted in greater engagement and increased circulation. Come to this session if you want to learn new creative ways to run passive programs...or don't, it's fine either way.
